Good Grades Guide Review

Are you tired of studying so many hours and only getting okay grades? Do you want to get better grades and study less? Sounds like an oxymoron, but you can do it! I’ve always been interested in methods and ways to improve myself and working smarter vs. working harder. I’ve gone through this 60 page Good Grades Guide written by Hans Wellman M.Ed. and found a lot of valuable insight that can also help you study smarter and get better grades. I learned about the three types of learner profiles he focuses on and how a Kinesthetic learner (like me), can adapt to the traditional classroom style.

Brain Training – What Happens to the Brain As We Learn?

Our brains are made up of a soft tissue loaded with a huge number nerve cells called neurons that are linked together in a very complex network. Groups of neurons work together for every bodily function, memory recall, new learning or thinking tasks. Most of those cells fire electrical signals to communicate back and forth. Sort of like the paging file on a computer. When a certain file or hard disk sector is maxed out, the computer will create a temporary RAM (Random Access Memory) area to help finish processing that request.
