Our brains are made up of a soft tissue loaded with a huge number nerve cells called neurons that are linked together in a very complex network. Groups of neurons work together for every bodily function, memory recall, new learning or thinking tasks. Most of those cells fire electrical signals to communicate back and forth.

Brain Training – What Happens to the Brain As We Learn?
Our brains are made up of a soft tissue loaded with a huge number nerve cells called neurons that are linked together in a very complex network. Groups of neurons work together for every bodily function, memory recall, new learning or thinking tasks. Most of those cells fire electrical signals to communicate back and forth.
